Virginia F. Reichert (nee Zarder), 97, of Milwaukee, passed away peacefully on March 31, 2012 at Village at Manor Park in Milwaukee. She was born December 19, 1914 to Alexander and Lydia (nee Pfister) Zarder in Milwaukee, WI. Virginia married Ernest Reichert on November 19, 1941 and together they raised two children.

Viriginia retired as a Registered Nurse, practicing for over 50 years. She was a life-long member of the Faith United Methodist Church. Virginia enjoyed sewing, gardening, and traveling in her spare time. Her greatest pleasure came from spending time with her family and giving to others.

Virginia was a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is survived by her children, Gary Reichert (Bonnie Dousman) and Ellen (Dale) Jante; her four grandchildren, Darlene (Bruce) Larsen, Michael Brown, Kristin (Mark) Kruzicki, and Laurie (Scott) Henkel; and her eight great-grandchildren, Jeremy, Jessica, Jacob, Kaitlyn, Alex, Emily, Nathan, and Abigail.

Virginia was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest, and her parents, Alexander and Lydia Zarder.

Visitation will be held at the Faith United Methodist Church, 400 S. 91st Street, Milwaukee, on Wednesday, April 4, 2012 from 5PM to 7 PM. The funeral service officiated by Rev. Andrew Oren, Pastor of Faith United Methodist Church, will begin at 7 PM. Burial will be held Thursday, April 5 at 10 am at Highland Memorial Park, New Berlin.
