Maryann E. Brueggeman (nee Pehowski), 76, of Sturtevant, passed away in the loving presence of her family at her home on Thursday, April 26, 2012. She was born February 2, 1936 to William and Emily (nee Pasholk) Pehowski in Wausau, Wisconsin. Maryann married Albert Brueggeman on May 10, 1952 and together they raised five children. Maryann and Albert supported their family working a large farm in Merrill, WI raising livestock and crops until they moved in 1964. Maryann then worked at the City of Racine Main Post Office for over 26 years. Maryann and Albert enjoyed camping along with their family in Newville, WI. She was a loving wife and caring mother. She made her grandchildren a priority in her life and loved nothing more than spending time them.

Maryann is survived by her husband, Albert; her children, Evelyn (Rick) Redlin, Albert Brueggeman, Roger (Janet) Brueggeman, David Brueggeman, and Ricky Brueggeman; her grandchildren, Jeff, Courtney, Jocelyn, Nicholas, and Colby; and her brother, Eugene (Virginia) Pehowski.

Maryann was preceded in death by her grandson, Brian and her parents, William and Emily Pehowski.

A visitation will take place at Miller-Reesman Funeral Home on Sunday, April 29, 2012 from 1-3 pm with a memorial service to begin at 3 pm.
