Union Grove - Aaliyah Cheyenne Cochran, 22, passed away unexpectedly on February 10, 2024. She was born August 28, 2001, in Racine, WI to Joseph W. Cochran and Julissa L. Diaz. She graduated from Union Grove Baptist High School. She was working as a quality assurance administrator for Hanna Cylinders. Aaliyah was artistic and loved attending music festivals, art shows and making her own artwork. She liked sports and playing volleyball and basketball. She also enjoyed watching car races. Aaliyah was proud of her Puerto Rican and Native American heritage. Aaliyah lit up the room with her smile and sense of humor.

Aaliyah is survived by her mother, Julissa; her siblings, Adriana Cochran, Joseph W. Jr. (Chelsea A.) Cochran, Mariah (Connor C. Minkley) Cochran, and Carlos Ramos; nieces and nephews, Josiah, Jaylen, and Julian Cochran, Eliana and Levi Rosario, and Haylin R. Minkley; grandmothers, Yolanda Cartagena and Constance Cochran; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Aaliyah was preceded in death by her father, Joseph, and grandfathers, Gary Cochran and Guillermo Diaz.

Visitation will be held Saturday February 24, 2024, from 10AM - 12 noon. With a Church service following at 12 noon. All held at the Union Grove Baptist Church.
