Union Grove – Allan W. Atkinson, age 63, passed away on January 26, 2024, at Aurora Medical Center in Mount Pleasant. He was born on November 20, 1960, in Virginia to parents Robert and Darlene (nee. Anderson) Atkinson. Allan enjoyed being outside farming, caring for the animals, and tending to the crops. He started working at Prochaska Cabbage Farm followed by Maple Leaf Farms as a farmhand and finished with S&R Egg Farm in Palmyra. He had many hobbies including fishing, bowling, playing games on his tablet, and cheering for the Packers.

Allan is survived by his loving wife, Anita; son, Xavier; siblings, Paul (Linda) Atkinson, Denise (Otis) Kincaid, and Laurie Atkinson; sister-in-law, Karen Holtdorf; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on February 2nd from 1 p.m. - 3 p.m. with a prayer service immediately following at 3 p.m.
