It is with great sadness that we, who love Ann Marie Hysell, mourn her passing on Sunday, June 26, 2016 in her Kenosha home after a courageous and determined battle with cancer. Born on March 15, 1960, Ann is survived by her loving husband of 26 years, Steve. Ann will be remembered for her devotion to her family, especially her children Kevin M. Hysell of Kenosha, Ann M. Hysell of Kenosha, Joshua (Tasha) Hysell of Ladysmith, WI and Theo J. Hysell of Minneapolis, MN. Ann so adored her grandchildren, Hailey and Leah Hysell.

Ann is further survived by her brothers, Michael Annessi and John (Helen) Annessi, both of Whitewater, WI; sisters, Mary Jonker of Kenosha and Jane (Willard) Bruner of Buckeye, AZ. Ann will also be missed by her niece, Amber (Bryon) Sohns and their son Jayden, along with many other family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents Ann (Corich) and Ronald Annessi and her sister-in-law, Jean (Michael) Annessi.

Ann was admired for her grit and fortitude she displayed during her recent battles with cancer and will be remembered by all for her upbeat spirit and keen sense of fun. Her warmth and love was appreciated and anticipated by everyone her life touched. Her passing has left a giant hole in all our hearts.

It is in this spirit, we ask anyone who knew her, to join us in celebrating her life on Saturday, July 16, 2016 at the Kenosha Bowmen Clubhouse. We will be there from noon to approximately 6pm. She expressly asked that everyone be comfortable, so the attire of the day is jeans and T-shirts. Ann would have appreciated a little something in green and gold. Bring a dish to pass and your favorite stories of Ann. There will be no viewing, as it was her wish to be donated for research in hopes of finding a cure someday.

Steve will miss you always, you are the love of his life.
