Audrey H. Blomgren (nee Marquardt), 88, passed away December 3, 2024, in her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born January 30, 1936 to Reinhart and Lilly (nee Schmidt) Marquardt in Dupont, WI. She grew up on a farm in the Town of Dupont in Waupaca County and later moved with her family to a farm near Split Rock. She attended Tigerton High School and graduated from University of Wisconsin Oshkosh with a Teaching Degree. Her entire teaching career was spent teaching second grade students at Franklin Grade School. She married Burton Oscar Blomgren on July 14, 1956. Together they raised two children during their wonderful 68-year marriage. She and Burt were charter members of the Mount Pleasant Lutheran Church.

Audrey enjoyed traveling in Europe and all over the United States with her family. Her talents included delicious cooking and baking and playing piano by ear. She was always gardening on the homestead that she and Burton made. Audrey was part of the choir and quilters group at church. Her family was most important to her, and she was always helping those in need.

Audrey is survived by her beloved husband, Burt; their daughter, Kim (Robert) Braun; grandchildren, Shauna (Sarah) Braun and Mark (Heather) Braun; great-grandchildren, Elaina, Mason, Carson, and Sawyer; and Burt's siblings, Orin Blomgren and Vila (Lois) Seefeldt.

Audrey was preceded in death by her son, Robin Blomgren; her parents Reinhart and Lilly; her siblings, Ruby Kersten, Goldie Moen, Eldora Behnke, and Norman Marquardt; and sister-in-law, Pat Blomgren.

Visitation will be held at Mount Pleasant Lutheran Churcch on Friday, December 13, 2024 from 10:30 am - 11:30 am. Services will begin at 11: 30 am. burial at West Lawn Memorial Park will take place at 2 pm.
