Barbara Jane Meyers, 77, of Kansasville, WI, passed away peacefully on December 25, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

Barb was born on April 17, 1948, in La Crosse, WI, and grew up in La Crescent, MN, with a close extended family of uncles and aunts, including Arthur and Ada Hill, her father, Alfred Strauss, and beloved cousins.

She married William H. Meyers on June 1, 1974, in Racine, WI. Throughout their 51 years together, Barb and Bill built a home filled with love, laughter, board games, backyard baseball, family reunions, and pumpkin harvest parties.

Barb was a devoted mother to Jake Meyers (Andrea), Julie Meyers, and James Meyers (Kristen Hoffman). She was the steady presence behind many busy days, volunteering for countless parent school committees, cheering from the bleachers, and making sure her children were supported in everything they pursued.

She was a proud and loving grandmother to Lacey Meyers, Aaden Hoffman, Bryce Meyers, Lukas Hoffman, Vince Meyers, and Weston Meyers, who brought her endless joy. Time spent with her grandchildren, whether celebrating milestones, hosting family gatherings, or simply being together, was among her greatest treasures.

Barb had a deep appreciation for beauty and celebration. She loved working in her garden, planting flowers, and making her home feel welcoming. Holidays held a particularly special place in her heart, and she took great joy in lighting up her patio with Halloween decorations and choosing the perfect gifts for those she loved at Christmas. Her talent for home décor and party planning made every gathering feel thoughtful, festive, and full of care.

She is survived by her husband, Bill; children and grandchildren; brother- and sister-in law, Tom and Jean Meyers; and many cousins.

Preceding Barb in death were her parents, Alfred and Olga (Holter) Strauss; uncle and aunt, Arthur and Ada Hill; parents-in-law, William A. and Irene Meyers; brother- and sister-in law, Joe and Georgia Rickert; and brother- and sister-in law, Phillip and Marie Meyers.

Barb will be remembered for her quiet strength, her nurturing heart, and the way she made everyone around her feel cared for. Her legacy lives on in the family she loved so deeply and the home she built with intention and grace.

She will be deeply missed and forever cherished.

A visitation will be held on January 8, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at Miller-Reesman, Kasuboski, Haas, and Dahl Funeral Home in Union Grove, WI. A funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m. with burial to follow at 2:00 p.m. at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
