Union Grove- Betty A. Fisher (nee Nondorf), 73, passed away June 3, 2016 at Wheaton Franciscan All Saints Medical Center. She was born September 3, 1942 in Edson, Wisconsin. She moved to Racine, WI in 1951 where she attended Sacred Heart Grade School and graduated from St. Catherine's High School. She worked at Johnson's Wax Co. after high school. Betty married Jerry Fisher on May 28, 1966 and they were married for nearly 47 years prior to his passing away three years ago. After getting married, Betty and Jerry moved to Union Grove and she worked at Community State Bank.

Betty and Jerry loved camping and fishing and in their travels fell in love with Grassy Narrow Lodge on Lake of the Woods in Ontario. They brought the lodge and made it their summer home for 25 years. Betty was "The Heart of Grassy." She was loved by all who met her. With Jerry's passing, she came back home to Union Grove. She loved spending time with all of her family. Her many nieces and nephews were loved as if they were her own children. She loved family Friday night fish fries and Saturday morning breakfasts and family reunions.
Betty is survived by her brothers and sisters, George and Lois Nondorf, Mary and Harlan Schoen, Jim and Dianna Nondorf, Dennis and Pat Nondorf, Cub and Donna Nondorf, Theresa Urban, and Tony and Patty Nondorf; many special nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews; and special friends.

Betty was preceded in death by her loving husband, Jerry Fisher; her parents, John and Marcella Nondorf; her infant brothers, Ronald and Loren; older brothers, Charles and Mickey Nondorf; and brother-in-law, Ronald Urban.

Special thanks to Janet Wenman and her daughters, Racheal and Amber, for all your care and special attention. Also, to Dr. Papp for his help and support and Theresa Urban, her loving sister, for all her support. Thanks to Wayne Schoen for all the love and support in the past 3 years since Jerry's passing. He's carrying on their legacy in Grassy.

Visitation will be held at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 1704 240th Ave, Kansasville, WI 53139, on Saturday, June 11, 2016 from 11am -12 noon. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 12 noon. Betty's final resting place will be with her husband, Jerry, at Grassy Narrow Lodge.
