Racine-Beverly Elaine Galovits (nee Otwaska), 88, passed away April 7, 2018 at her home. She was born June 20, 1929 to Wenzel and Helen (nee Ruthe) Otwaska in Racine, WI.  Beverly graduated from Park High School in 1947.  Beverly married Benedict Galovits on November 4, 1950 and together they raised four children.  Beverly worked at JcPenney when she met Benedict.  She went on to work at Progressive Dairy and retired from Kohl's Department Store.  She enjoyed reading, gardening, cooking, baking, canning, and playing cards.  She made a wonderful, loving home and will be greatly missed by her family.

Beverly is survived by her devoted husband, Benedict; their children, Victoria Lynn (Charles) Schaut; Michael Alan (Linda Sue), Benedict Alex, Jr., and Christopher Scott (Michele); grandchildren, Abbie Schaut Honaker, Adam (Kristy) Schaut, Stephanie (Martin) Hoglund, Lindsay Galovits-Gostisha, Joseph Sobon, Nicholas Sobon; five great-grandchildren; and her brother, Dennis Otwaska.

Beverly was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Jamie Lynn Schaut; her parents; and her brother, James Otwaska.

Visitation will be held at Miller-Reesman Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 from 11 am – 1 pm. Memorial service will begin at 1 pm.  Private burial will be at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
