Racine – Carol June Eppler, age 81, passed away at her residence on June 4, 2024. She was born on February 20, 1943, to Ethel (nee. Russ) Dexter. Carol married the love of her life, Robert Eppler, on May 7, 1960, and they were married for 64 years. She loved watching NASCAR and Judge Judy, going gambling, and enjoying her time outside sitting on the deck. Above all, Carol cherished spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Carol is survived by her husband, Robert; children, Robert Jr. (Patty) Eppler and Terri (Wesley) Pfeil; grandchildren, Michael (Sierra) Houlette, Emily (Matthew) Koellner, Jeremy Eppler (Cameron Mathe), and Samantha (Jacob) Rundle; great grandchildren, Harrison and Lily Houlette, Eden and Milo Koellner, and Ryder and Grayson Rundle; sister, Judith Cohn; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Carol was preceded in death by her siblings, Eugene Dexter, Wayne Dexter, and Dorothy Povkovich; and son in law, Michael Houlette Sr.

A private inurnment will take place at the Southern Wisconsin Memorial Cemetery.
