Carol Diane Munns Oatsvall, age 83, passed away on October 11, 2025, at Brookside Care Center. She was born May 14th, 1942 in Kenosha, WI to Juanita and Paul Munns. She attended local schools. During her teen years, she entered Foster Care and was placed with Don and Carmella Cantwell, a young couple she lovingly referred to as "Ma & Pa", who became her family. In August of 1961, Carol married Bob Oatsvall, with whom she had three children. They later divorced. Carol enjoyed playing dominoes and going on adventures to Petrifying Springs with her 8 grandchildren. She also loved Thrift Store shopping to hunt for treasures.

Carol is survived by her daughters, Lori (Troy) Leonard and Shari (Jim) Mikulecky; her grandchildren and their partners, Amanda Leonard (Ryan), Troy Leonard Jr. (Caitie), Emily Porter (Eli), Lindsey Mikulecky (Gabrielle), Justin Mikulecky (Alexa), Rebecca Schueller (Matt), Stephanie Huck (Addison), and Jayme Clary (Joe); and her five great grandchildren, Willow, Grace, Griffin, Indigo and Violet. She is also survived by her foster siblings Marla DeHart, Beth Dregne, Don Cantwell Jr., Don William and their families.

Carol was preceded in death by her son, Bob Oatsvall Jr., her parents and foster parents.

A visitation will be held at Miller Reesman Funeral Home on October 15, 2025 from 2pm - 3:30pm with a service to begin at 3:30pm. Burial at Union Grove Memorial Cemetery will immediately follow.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to Saint Jude's Children's Hospital.
