On Thursday September 02, 2021, Caroline Veronica Hardy of Union Grove, WI passed away in peace at the age of 81 years at home surrounded by her family.

Caroline was born in Portage County, WI and is the daughter of Sophie Waldoch and Walter Karpinski. She graduated from high school in 1958 and went on to earn a certificate in Beauty Culture and Cosmetology from Marvel School in July of 1960.

She dedicated many years of her life helping children in need as a foster parent and helping care for her grandchildren, who lovingly called her Boush. She managed the Hi-Liter paper route for years, worked at Plastic Parts, and ended her employment years at Grove Bowl.

Caroline enjoyed reading a good romance and mystery novel, tackling word searches and crossword puzzles, bowling, scratch offs, and enjoyed a variety of mystery shows.

Caroline is survived by her husband, Robert of 60 years; children, Steve, Brian, Laurie and James; grandchildren, Cassandra, Mitchell, Andrew and Brittany; great-grandchildren, Aubrey and Breylon. She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings.

Caroline is a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother. Caroline's life and contagious laugh will be remembered with so much love.
