Catherine Lou Green, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on March 2, 2025, at the age of 68. Born on April 7, 1956, in Lake City, Minnesota, Cathy was the cherished daughter of Dallas and Mary (nee: Kirk) Adler. She proudly graduated from Tremper High School in 1974 before dedicating herself to a successful career at Abbott Laboratories, where she served as a production supervisor for over 30 years.

On July 16, 1987, she married the love of her life, Vic Green, with whom she shared countless adventures and memories. Cathy was known for her zest for life—she loved to travel, to shop, and to spend cherished moments with her family. Her passion for cooking often thrilled friends and loved ones gathered around her table. An avid lover of music and a devoted Minnesota Vikings fan, Cathy brought joy and laughter to everyone she met. She was also a proud member of the Milwaukee Hog Chapter.

Cathy's legacy lives on through her children, Heather (Matt Kristiansen) Kraus, Stephen (Melissa) Green, and Jessica Collins, as well as her beloved grandchildren, Haley (Ryne) Gillett, Hanna Hall, Kaitlyn Green, and Ashley Collins. Excitingly, the family also looks forward to welcoming a great-grandchild, Georgia Jean Gillett, into the fold. Cathy had an extraordinary bond with her many cousins and close friends, who will remember her for her infectious spirit and warm heart.

Cathy will be remembered with love and gratitude for the joy she brought to all who were fortunate enough to know her. Her spirit lives on in the hearts of her family and friends, and through the laughter and memories shared in her honor.

In celebration of Cathy's remarkable life, a visitation will be held on Saturday March 8, 2025, at Miller-Reesman Funeral Home from 1pm – 3pm, with services beginning at 3pm.

Anyone who would like to participate is encouraged to wear Viking purple in honor of Cathy's favorite football team.
