Burlington- Catherine B. Smetana, 78, passed away on February 4, 2016 at Wheaton Franciscan All Saints Hospital in Racine. She was born January 1, 1938 to Chauncey and Bernice (nee Heggeman) Smetana in Burlington, WI. She worked as a bus driver for many years. She loved watching old movies and spending time with her family.

Catherine is survived by her children, Barbara Christianson and Nancy Janczak; grandchildren, Skyler (Britt) Christianson, Jeff (Jen) Janczak, and Catherine (Matt) Janczak; and great-grandchildren, Chase and Colt.

Private services will be held.

The family would like to thank the staff of Timber Oaks Assisted Living and Oak Ridge Care Center as well as the staff at Saint Mary's ER and ICU for the wonderful care they took of Catherine.
