Union Grove- Christina Mae Hansen (nee Buisse), 74, passed away June 19 at St. Francis Hospital. She was born June 15, 1944 to Edmond and Mary (nee Mandli) Buisse. She graduated from Union Grove High School Class of 1962. She married Richard Hansen in 1972. Christina worked as Executive Secretary at Bardon Rubber and later worked as Administrative Assistant for Racine County Executive Office. After retirement, Christina earned an Associate Degree in Medical Records Adminstration. She went on to work at Columbia St. Mary's Hospital in Milwaukee, Lakeview Medical Center, and 12th Street Clinic. Christina never had her own children but absolutely loved other's children, especially her nieces and nephews. Christina is survived by her siblings, Richard Buisse, Marcella Worby, August (Bernadette) Buisse, Betty (Robert) Marten, Peter (Kathy) Buisse; and many nieces and nephews. Christina was preceded in death by her husband, Dick; step-son, Phillip Hansen; her parents, Edmond and Mary; sister, Donna Buisse; siblings-in-law, Joyce Buisse and Glenn Worby; and step-sister, Victorine (Bob) Hayward. Visitation will be held at Miller-Reesman Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 27 from 5-7 pm. Service will begin at 7 pm. The family will hold private burial services.
