Union Grove – Clement "Clem" P. Bettinger, 89, passed away on May 26, 2017. He was born October 24, 1927 to Peter and Mary (nee Rinser) Bettinger in Milwaukee, WI. He graduated from Messmer High School. Clem was married to the late Lois Kahrau and they had six children together. Clem later married the late Judy Vogel on May 1, 1979 and they were married for 30 years prior to her passing. Clem retired from the Milwaukee Police Department after 38 years of service. He moved to Union Grove 18 years ago and was a member of St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church. He was great fan of all Wisconsin sports teams and enjoyed playing Pai Gou at Potawatomi Casino. Clem volunteered at the Shepherd's Home in Union Grove helping out the residents there.

Clem is survived by his children, Michael (Anita) Bettinger, Linda Weckel, John (Rawiwan) Bettinger, James (Karen) Bettinger, and Laurie Bettingerr; grandchildren, Gretchen, Andrew, Thitikan, Amber, and Aubrie; and brother, Fred (Helen) Bettinger.
Clem was preceded in death by his wife, Judy Bettinger; daughter, Sandra Bettinger; son-in-law, Paul Weckel; and former wife, Lois Kahrau.

Visitation will be Friday, June 9, 2017 from 9:30 am - 10:30 am at St. Robert Bellarmine Church. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:30 am.
