Consuella "Connie" Chestnut, 79, passed away December 26, 2025, at Willowcrest Nursing Home. She was born on November 23, 1946, to Roy and Pacita Watkins in Missouri. She grew up in Racine, WI, attending St. Patrick's grade school and then graduating from St. Catherine's High School. She had many careers in her lifetime from Registered Nurse, owning her own beauty shop, to working with the Alzheimer's Association. She felt assisting the elderly community in need was her most rewarding work. She was a good cook and enjoyed eating. Connie's friends and family will remember her generosity, always giving what she could when she saw she could help. She was a highly intelligent person having earned two bachelor's degrees, two master's degrees, and a partial PhD. She enjoyed educating those around her.

Connie is survived by her brothers, Mark Watkins and Harlan Watkins; special friend, Diane Johnson; and Milwaukee coworkers, Jeannie, Beth, and others.

Connie was preceded in death by her son, Jason Chestnut; her brothers, Michael Watkins and Warren Watkins; and her ex-husband, Leroy Chestnut.

Private burial services will be held.
