Mount Pleasant – Daniel Wayne Koepke, age 63, passed away on May 7, 2023, at Ascension All Saints in Racine. He was born on December 21, 1959, to parents Wayne and Laura (nee. Ryker) Koepke. Dan graduated from Union Grove High School in 1978. He was a proud co-owner and vice president of Applied Steel Components. He loved baking, playing cards, military history, traveling, and seeing the world. Dan embraced the world and all its diversity. He loved the beauty in everyone.

Dan is survived by his beloved husband, Larry Cook; children, Ericka (Sarah) Koepke, Donald (Brandon Ahler) Koepke, Amy Koepke, and Abby Koepke (Christopher Karnowski); grandchildren, Victoria and Christian; mother, Laura Koepke; siblings, Debra (Pete) Reesman and Bill (Heidi) Koepke; father-in-law, Lewis Cook III; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Dan was preceded in death by his father, Wayne and mother-in-law, Apollonia Stahl.

Public visitation will be at the funeral home on May 20 from 1:00pm – 3:00pm. Private funeral service will be held at a later date.
