Dawn Ann Luce, a devoted wife, loving mother, loyal sister, and cherished member of her community, passed away tragically on November 2, 2024. Born on March 17, 1972, in Grand Rapids, MI, Dawn was the shining light of positivity in the lives of her family and friends. She dedicated her life to caring for her loved ones and serving others with unwavering kindness and generosity.

Growing up in Michigan, Dawn graduated from Western High School before obtaining a bachelor's degree in biology from Spring Arbor College. She worked as an Educational Assistant at Yorkville Elementary School and demonstrated her love of the Lord by teaching Sunday school, where she made a lasting impact on the lives of countless children.

Dawn's greatest joy in life was her role as a mother to her two sons, Mike and Matt. She was actively involved in their activities, especially their time in the Boy Scouts, where she was known as the "camp mom" for her dedication to creating unforgettable experiences for the boys.

With a deep connection to nature, Dawn found peace and joy in the outdoors. She loved camping, gardening, and embarking on adventures with her family, including treasure hunts and trips to Michigan. Her faith in the Lord was a guiding light in her life, and she was a dedicated member of Yorkville United Methodist Church. Dawn had an intuitive way of relating to people and considered everyone she met to be a new friend. She had a sensational love of dogs, and always had one by her side.

Known for her boundless compassion and willingness to help others in need, Dawn's impact extended far beyond her immediate circle. She will be remembered for her vibrant spirit, infectious smile, and selfless nature.

Dawn is survived by her husband, Rob; their sons, Mike and Matt; her brother, Todd (Marie) Schoeppach; brother-in-law, Steve (Trang) Luce; and her nephew, Peter and niece, Zoe.

Dawn was preceded in death by her parents, Jill and Wayne Schoeppach.

A celebration of Dawn's life will be held at Yorkville United Methodist Church on November 16, 2024, 11 am. Friends and family are invited to gather to honor her memory and share stories of her remarkable life from 9 am to 11 am.
