Debbie G. Reesman

Debra Grace “Debbie” Reesman, 68, passed away July 28, 2026, at Aurora Medical Center – Mt. Pleasant after a brief, valiant fight against lung cancer. She was born on March 28, 1958, to Wayne and Laura (nee Ryker) Koepke. She graduated from Union Grove High School Class of 1976. She went on to attend Gateway Technical College and earned an associate degree in accounting. Debbie married the love of her life Peter Reesman on June 16, 1979.

Debbie worked as a travel agent for a brief amount of time. She worked for 30 plus years and retired from Union Grove Elementary School as the bookkeeper. Debbie was a talented artist and enjoyed lots of crafting projects that she sold at craft shows including sewing/ embroidery crafts, decorating t-shirts and sweatshirts, and making custom cards. She spent a lot of time documenting her family history by making scrapbooks. She liked watching the Packers with Pete.

Debbie is survived by her brother, William (Heidi) Koepke; and many nieces and nephews.

Debbie was survived by her husband Peter Reesman who shortly afterwards passed away August 13, 2026.

Debbie was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Daniel (Lary Cook) Koepke.

Combined services will be held for both Pete and Debbie on Saturday, September 5, 2026, from 10 am – 12 noon at Miller-Reesman Funeral Home. Memorial service will begin at noon.
