Kansasville – Della Mae Vogel, age 87, passed away at her residence on June 2, 2024. She was born on April 4, 1937, to parents John and Alice (nee. Schwedler) Amborn. Della was married to Roy Vogel Jr. for 36 years and together they raised their family on a farm in Kansasville. She was a longtime member of Union Grove Baptist Church and worked as a cook at Shepard's Home for over 20 years. Della enjoyed many hobbies, especially gardening, cooking, and going to yard sales. She was loved and known as Granny and will be dearly missed.

Della is survived by her children; David Vogel, Lori Vogel, Michelle Broad, Linda Scharpf, and Brenda (Chad) Franks; grandchildren, Melanie (Angel) Aucapina, Evan (Kirsten) Scharpf, Jacob (Becca) Franks, Jesse (Sapphire) Franks, and Sabrina (Jason) Lile; several great grandchildren; siblings, Richard (Doris) Amborn and Jack Amborn; and many relatives and friends.

Della was preceded in death by her loving husband, Roy; her parents; and several brother and sister in laws.

A visitation will be held at Miller Reesman Funeral Home on Friday, June 7 from 11am – 1pm with a prayer service to begin at 1. Private interment will take place at Union Grove Memorial Cemetery.
