Union Grove – Donald G. Lutzow, 85, passed away August 29, 2016 at the Union Grove Veterans Nursing Home. He was born February 18, 1931 to Alexander and Emilie (nee Hardt) Lutzow in Illinois. He was a Veteran of the Korean War and a member of the American Legion. Donald worked as a baker in research and development for Sara Lee Bakery and Tech Director at Bear-Stewart Corporation. He was involved in Alcoholic Anonymous. Don enjoyed his free time by fishing and socializing with his neighbors.

Donald is survived by his children, Katherine (Larry) Munro, Michael (Nora) Lutzow, Mark (Betty) Lutzow; his grandchildren, Kimberly Victorine, Kristen (Neal) Deacon, Matthew (Laura) Lutzow, Jeffrey Lutzow, and Mark Lutzow, Jr.; his great-grandchildren, Kyra, Mason, Jackson, Emmie, and Emilia; and his niece, Sandy (Greg) Schultz.
Donald was preceded in death by his wife, Charlotte; his son, Thomas Lutzow; and his brother, Bill Lutzow.

Private burial with full military honors will be at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
