Donna Jean Gerke, 70, of Union Grove, WI, was called home to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 22, 2017.

She was born Donna Jean Hanson on May 9, 1947 in Eau Claire, WI. Daughter of Frances Hanson and the late Archie Rude Hanson. Donna attended Union Grove grade, middle and high school and graduated in 1965. She worked at several jobs including, but not limited to Case/CNH, St. Mary's Hospital, and loved selling real estate.

Donna is remembered and loved by her two daughters, Kristina (Ricky) Johnson and Elizabeth (Jason) Peetz; five grandchildren, Alexandria, Anaya, Madeline, Amareya, and Abigail. She is survived by siblings, Marion (Willie) Rushford, Ken (Ellen) Hanson, Ron Hanson, and Elaine Chaffee; several nieces and nephews and special friends, Kathy Culshaw, Ryan Turner, and Kathy Hanson.

Visitation is at 2:00pm and funeral services will start at 3:00pm, both services are on Friday, June 30, 2017 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 1610 Main Street, Union Grove, WI.

To the "family" members that let differences sever your relationship with her. You broke her heart. It doesn't matter who was right or wrong. It is truly unfortunate the last years of her life were spent missing out on events where families should come together. May you one day realize how much your actions, letters, and words affect people and someday find peace.
