Union Grove – Earl Goebel, 85, passed away from complications of a car accident on September 2, 2016. He was born April 19, 1931 to George and Lois (nee Holleman) Goebel in Orchardville, Illinois. He married Evelyn Mae Fels on September 10, 1948 in Piggott, Arkansas. They did not have children but they enjoyed their association with their fellow members of the Union Grove Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. He had served as a minister for the congregation. Earl worked as the Vice President/ Buyer/ Seller for F. Galloon Tanning Company. He and Evelyn lived in St. Louis for 24 years prior to moving to Wisconsin.

Evelyn passed away in the same car accident on August 30, 2016.
A Memorial Service for both Evelyn and Earl will be held at Union Grove Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses on Braun Road on Saturday, September 24, 2016 at 2 pm.
