Kenosha - Eddie Wells, age 60, passed away peacefully at United Hospital System-Kenosha on August 13, 2017. He was born in Racine, WI on July 26, 1957 to parents Arthur and Eliza (nee. Overstreet) Wells. Eddie went onto graduating from Park High School.

He had a special place in his heart for fishing, riding his bike, singing, and the Chicago Cubs. Whenever someone needed help, he was right there to help as much as he could.

Eddie is survived by his siblings, Albert Wells, Michael (Lisa) Wells, Oscar (Annie) Wells, Shelia (Wayne) Wells, Cynthia Wilson, Patricia Green, Willie Mae (Bernard) Gill, and Latonia (Harvey) Wells; and enormous amount of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Eddie was preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Juanita Wells and Ida Mae Jones.

A Homegoing Celebration will take place from 9-10 am on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at Changing Lives Ministries, 2928 Durand Avenue, Racine. A gathering will be held from 12-3 pm, following the services at the Martin Luther King Center, 1134 Martin Luther King Drive, Racine.
