Eli Robert Hanel Jr, 77, of Kansasville, passed away at his home unexpectedly on Wednesday , August 25, 2021. Just one day before his 78th birthday. He was born August 26, 1946 to Eli and Ethel (Block) Hanel, in Milwaukee, WI. Eli married Jean (Henning) on February 15, 1967. They lived in Milwaukee before moving and make their home in Kansasville.

Eli served his country in the United States Army. Eli had a long career as the produce manager for several grocery stores finaly retiring from the Burlington Walmart about five years ago. He was an artist by heart and even moonlighted painting wall murals with "Eli's Wall Stylings." Eli loved spending time with Jean especially in the vegetable garden and the flower beds. Eli and Jean were very involved in Christian Ministry and helped over 130 at risk women welcoming them into her home and teaching them the Bible through an outreach program of the Milwaukee Victory Church. Together they led worship at several community churches by singing while Jean played guitar and piano.

Eli is survived by his siblings,  Shirley (Gary) Hanson, Ervin (Debbie) Gromacki, and Richard (Jackie) Gromacki , and his siblings-in-law John (Joan) Henning and Sue (Stanley) Myers.
