Burlington - Ellen F. Junkins, 76, passed away on Friday, February 16, 2018 at Geneva Lake Manor.
Born in Windyville, MO on December 7, 1941, she was the daughter of Roma and Geneva (nee. Shepard) Lynch. She spent her early life in Buffalo, MO where she attended school.
Ellen lived in the Burlington area for the past 51 years. She was a daycare provider out of her home and loved to color and read books to the children she cared for. She enjoyed sewing, bird watching and all animals.
She is survived by her daughters, Pamela Junkins, Barbara (Logan) Kaplon, and Annette Bauman; grandchildren, Nicole (Chad) Frederickson, Blaine (Amanda) Patino, and Samantha Bauman. She is also survived by her great grandchildren, Grace, Henry, and Walter.
Ellen was preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Georgia and Joyce,
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff with Aurora at Home Hospice and Geneva Lake Manor for their wonderful care and compassion.
