Enola Mae Hay, age 91, of the Town of Paris, passed peacefully into her eternal life on August 20, 2024, surrounded by her loving daughters. She was born March 31, 1933, to the late Frank and Blanche (nee. Gunter) Erickson. She loved her childhood growing up on the farm. Enola married the love of her life, Darrell Hay, on August 16, 1952, at Paris Corners Methodist Church. During their almost 61 year marriage, they raised four daughters together.  Darrell built a cabin "up North" where he and Enola enjoyed dividing their time between living there and in Union Grove. Enola enjoyed reading, doing puzzles, and traveling with Darrell. Almost up to her passing, she blessed others by driving them to their appointments. Above all, she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren who were the joy of her life.

Enola is survived by her children, Cheryl (Ken) Gilbert, Sue (Jerry) Williams, and Julie (Jerry) Lambrecht; eight grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; and her sister-in-law, Ruth Mullikin.

Enola was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Diane Dahl; granddaughter, Jessica Lambrecht; and her brother, Marvin Erickson.

Visitation for Enola's family and friends will be held at Miller Reesman Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 27, 2024, from 12 noon – 1:00 pm. A memorial service will begin at 1:00 pm. Burial will immediately follow at the Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
