Lake Sharon – Ernest E. Krueger, Sr., 68, passed away on February 14, 2016. He was born September 3, 1947 to Edward and Olive (nee Earl) Krueger in Milwaukee, WI. Ernie was a proud Army Veteran who served in Vietnam. After his discharge, he went on to serve in the National Guard for 12 years. Ernie was married to his former wife, Debra Ryan, for 25 years and they had five children together. He retired after 25 years from Quad Graphics as a First Pressman. He liked watching the Packers play and playing softball with his sons as a younger man. Bowling and coin collecting were past times that he enjoyed. An outdoorsman, he would hunt and fish whenever he could. He was a lifelong member of the NRA.

Ernie is survived by his children, Ernie, Jr. (Pamela) Krueger, April Krueger, Richard Krueger, Angela (Matt) Goetsch, and Amanda (Andrew) Jarvey; his grandchildren, Abigail, Gabrielle, Isabelle, Danielle, Colton, Jordyn (Cody) Anderson, Konner, Kayleigh, James, Maggie, and BrookLynn; his sister-in-law, Pat; several nieces and nephews; and Debra Ryan.

Ernie was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Olive Krueger; his brothers, Edward "Skip" Krueger and Gordon (Carol) Krueger.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 23, 2016 from 11 am – 1 pm at Miller-Reesman Funeral Home and memorial service will begin at 1 pm. Burial with full military honors will immediately follow at the Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
