Eunice Hoffman, 84, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her children, on July 23, 2025, in Burlington, Wisconsin.

Eunice Hoffman was born on April 19, 1941, in Chicago, IL, to Anthony and Sophie Willis.

Eunice married James Celkis in June 1959. The couple had 5 children: James, Sandra, Michael, Thomas, and Sharon. Later, Eunice added a sixth child to her family, Karen. Eunice married Dennis Hoffman November 4, 2006.

Eunice was best known for her love of family, particularly her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Eunice was very proud of her sons, Michael and Thomas, who served our country in the Army, Air Force, and Marines. Eunice loved travel, perfume, scary movies, casino's, gardening, family photographs, shopping, getting her hair done, sweets, coffee, music, and dancing.

Eunice is survived by her husband Dennis, son James Celkis (Cheryl) of Oak Lawn, Illinois, daughter Sandra Hill of Elkhorn, Wisconsin, son Thomas Celkis (April) of Braceville, Illinois, daughter Sharon (Perry Crakes) of Wilmot, Wisconsin, and daughter Karen Beglinger of Elkhorn, Wisconsin. Eunice is further survived by her grandchildren James, David, Brian, Katie, Daniel, Lyndsay, Ethan, Heather, Cordell, Christopher, and Annaliese, and many great-grandchildren.

Eunice is preceded in death by her son, Michael and her parents.

By her wishes, there will be no formal funeral or viewing. The family will hold private services.

Burial: Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Union Grove, Wisconsin

The family extends a heartfelt thank you to the members of Aurora Healthcare including Summit ICU, MedSurg, and Aurora Medical Center-Burlington Hospice. The care shown to Eunice in her time of need was exceptional.
