Racine - Gail Diane Reynolds, age 68, passed away peacefully at her residence in Racine, Wisconsin, on March 19, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Born on March 2, 1957, in Michigan to Stanley and Fern (nee Grigsby) Grant, Gail embodied a spirit of compassion and joy that touched the lives of all who knew her.

Gail's warmth and silliness shone brightly throughout her life, as evidenced by her favorite socks she called her slippers and her love of Christmas. Her collection of over 50 Santas will be cherished by her family. She had a remarkable ability to see the best in everyone and was loved for her genuine kindness. Her passion for baking and her friendly personality made her a cherished self-checkout cashier at Walmart, where she adored her job and found fulfillment in connecting with co-workers and customers alike.

A wanderer at heart, Gail lived in Alaska on and off for approximately 27 years, creating beautiful memories across the state's stunning landscapes. She loved traveling, with her most memorable trips including adventures to Aruba and New Orleans. However, her greatest joy came from spending time with her grandchildren, whom she treasured deeply. Tuesdays at Joey's bar, enjoying milkshakes with friends, brought her a special kind of happiness that complemented the love she had for her family.

Gail is survived by her husband, Larry Reynolds; her loving children, Tawnya (Justin) Francis, Ashley (Sam) Balk, and Stacie (Jordan Karweik) Reynolds; and her cherished grandchildren, Dustin, Kalin, Annagail, Serenity, Allie, Jaedan, Keaden, and Malaniee. She will also be missed by her beloved sisters, Linda (Carl) Doherty and Donna Thomas, as well as many other relatives and friends who loved her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Bob Grant.

Gail Diane Reynolds will be remembered not only for her laughter but also for the love she gave freely—a legacy that remains alive in the hearts of her family and friends.

The family will hold a visitation at Miller Reesman Funeral Home on April 5, 2025, from 1pm to 3pm with a service beginning at 3pm honoring her joyous spirit and the love she shared with so many.
