Jerry "Toothpick" Knight passed away at home with his wife by his side early
Monday morning, August 21st. Jerry was a fun-loving guy who enjoyed his 87
years of life. He graduated from East Troy High School in 1955 and immediately
joined the air force where he was a jet mechanic. He married Sharon (Shari)
Nolan in 1965. For most of his life Jerry was self-employed as a painter &
carpenter but was Maintenance Supervisor of Buildings and Grounds at George
Williams College when he retired.

Jerry enjoyed building furniture and built much of the furniture in his home. He
enjoyed watching the Brewers and the Packers, and spent many enjoyable hours
on his boat in the Mississippi river. He liked to travel, mostly when it involved
fishing; but most of all he loved fishing and hunting with his buddies. He was
always proud to tell people that he won his boat in a fishing contest and fished
in 15 states and Canada.

He is dearly missed by his wife, Shari; daughter, Rochelle (Jim) Pittis, son,
Douglas aka Wally (Kendra) Knight; Brothers, Harry (Joan) Knight, Ron Crook
and Rick (Marge) Crook; Sister, Barb (Gary) Portzen; Step-sister, June Alden;
Grandkids, Harley Knight, Sam Thorson, Rob (Brianne) Pittis, Mikayla (Tim)
Vanderkooy, Joey (Alli) Pittis, Codey Pittis and Patrick Pittis; and 6
great-grandchildren Addi, Mason, Emree, Jackson, Lincoln and Skylar.

Please join his family for a celebration of his life at Privato, 2 W Geneva Street in
Williams Bay on September 16 from 1-5 PM.
