Gerald (Jerry) Theodore Noeske's Obituary
Gerald Theodore Noeske (Jerry) of Port Washington, WI., formerly of Florence, WI., passed away peacefully to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on October 24th, 2021. Jerry was born in Milwaukee WI. Son of Frederick Noeske and Marie Antoinette Pier Noeske. Jerry attended grade school in Milwaukee and later graduated from Florence High School where he was a skilled quarterback for the Florence Bobcats. Jerry went into the United States Army in 1959 where he served in France and Germany. He later became an owner operator with his own Peterbilt semi where he put on over
1,200,000
miles on his truck alone. He loved nothing more than being behind the wheel of his semi and seeing the country. He was known for his animated and detailed stories. Jerry was a minimalist, he could fix almost anything, and was proud of and took care of everything that he had. He always appreciated the little things and was a strong believer in his faith.
He is survived by his four children; Frederick (Peggy) Noeske, Dawn (Guy) Zielke, Tony (Maureen) Grell and Steve Grell. He is further survived by his grandchildren, brother Walter Noeske, sister Carol Heims, sister in law Mary Noeske (the late Frederick Noeske), many nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his grandson Jason Enders, siblings Frederick Noeske, Monica (the late Mack) VanWilpe, Dolores (the late Gil) Olsen, Florence (the late Paul) Henrichs, Mary Noeske, Lucille
(William) Meer and Jeanette (the late Paul) Bartch.
Jerry's family would like to give special thanks to the staff of Ellen's Home of Port Washington WI and Horizon Hospice of WI for the care and support they provided.
Visitation will be at St Joseph Parish Catholic Church in Grafton, WI., November 5th, 2021 from 9:00 to 11:00 am with funeral mass at 11:00 am.
