Union Grove – Gordon Carlyle Stussy, age 81, passed away on January 16, 2025, at Ridgewood Care Center in Racine. He was born on July 23, 1943, to parents Carl and Grace (nee. Eitsert) Stussy in Madison, WI. Gordon graduated from Gays Mills High School. He was united in marriage to Roxeen Rux on April 27, 1970, and together they raised four children. Gordon worked as a machinist for JI Case for 35 years and went on to work as a driver for Diamond Cut Limo. He was the longest living heart recipient having received his heart transplant 34 years ago. Gordon always joked that he was a miracle man who had more lives than a cat. Gordon was a sports fanatic and a diehard Green Bay Packer fan as well as all Wisconsin sports. He played basketball and softball and coached his children's teams. Gordon was a fan of John Wayne westerns and played numerous card games especially cribbage and Euchre. He loved going hunting and fishing and would go white bass fishing every year with his good friend Gil.

Gordon is survived by his children, Joe (Diane) Stussy, Bob (Diane) Stussy, Dan (BJ) Stussy, Tracy (Denise) Stussy; grandchildren, Joey (Sarah), Cassidy (Kyle), Cody, Brandon (Britney), Ally; great grandchildren, Levi, Kaelynn, Savannah, Summer, Skyelynn, Soren, Scout, Emery, and twins, Stetson and Bowen; sister, Judy (Gibby) Botello; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Gordon was preceded in death by his loving wife, Roxeen; his parents; sister, Phyllis (Larry) Knoble; and siblings in law, Ed Rux, Deanna Simroll, and Gibby Botello.

A visitation will be held on February 15 from 9am – 11am at Miller Reesman Funeral Home with a service to begin at 11am. Burial at Union Grove Memorial Cemetery will immediately follow.

Per Gordon's wishes, please dress casually and wear your favorite Wisconsin sports attire. Don't forget to be an organ donor.
