Union Grove- Harry R. Adamson, Jr., 92, passed away July 25, 2025, at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Hospital. Born June 3, 1933, in Kenosha, WI to Harry, Sr. and Esther (nee Cantwell) he grew up in Kenosha and graduated from Kenosha High School Class of 1951. He received a Barbering Certificate from MATC. Harry met the love of his life, Patricia Baker, at a wedding they both attended, and they soon had one of their own on April 7, 1956. During their 69-year marriage, they raised three children together. Harry was a proud Army Veteran who served in Korea. He was a very active and involved member of the Kenosha VFW Post 1865, serving as Post Commander several times. He was voted to be Kenosha County Veteran of the Year 2007. Harry not only gave to his country he also gave of himself to the local community by donating over 100 pints of blood with the SE Wisconsin Blood Center. Harry was lifetime member of the Knights of Columbus and the Danish Brotherhood. He was a past president of the Kenosha Jaycees. Harry worked for years as owner of Truesdale Barber Shop and after retirement he was able to travel the world with Patricia.

Harry is survived by his wife, Patricia; children, Michel Clark, Theresa Adamson, Brian (Wanda) Adamson, Sr.; grandchildren, Bowen (Ashely) Clark, Rylee Clark, Lynn Mustio, Brian (Janelle) Adamson, Alexander (Megan) Adamson; great-grandchildren, Lauretta, Everly, Maverick, Edward, James, Audrey, and Richard; sister, Mary Hughes; and sister-in-law, Nancy Adamson.

Harry was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, James (Rita) Adamson and Wayne Adamson.

The family will hold private services with burial at the Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
