In Loving Memory of Heidi Lynn (Cuddeback) Slife

Heidi Lynn (Cuddeback) Slife, a loving wife, devoted mother, daughter, and friend passed away peacefully at her home in Union Grove, Wisconsin on October 31, 2026, after a battle with melanoma cancer.

Heidi was born on April 17, 1980, in Park Falls, Wisconsin. She was the cherished daughter of Debbie (Mike) Sitter and Perry (Deb) Cuddeback.

Heidi leaves behind her husband Ben and three wonderful children, Andrew, Leah, and Alana, who were the center of her world; her parents, her father and mother-in-law, Jay and Linda Slife; her brother and sister-in-law, Justin and Audra Slife, and her nieces and nephew, Maggie, Layla, and Jay Slife. She also leaves behind numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends who will forever cherish her memory.

She was preceded in death by her uncle Kevin Cuddeback, first cousin Cory Retzlaff, grandparents, Clem and Mary Lou Cuddeback, and Arther and Ruth Barland.

Heidi had a true passion for life and loved making memories with the people she loved. She enjoyed traveling with family and friends, especially trips to the ocean where she loved watching sea turtles and snorkeling. Her love for turtles went back to her childhood when she had two of her own. Heidi also had a love of music and loved going to concerts with her daughters and friends.

For many years, she was the lunch lady at the children’s school, where she enjoyed seeing and interacting with all the children. She brought warmth and kindness wherever she went.

But above all else, Heidi loved being a mom. Nothing made her happier than having all the kids over, filling her home with laughter, and hosting Halloween celebrations every year. Those special traditions and memories will live on in the hearts of the children for years to come.

Heidi was a true angel here on earth. Her love, laughter, kindness, and beautiful spirit touched so many lives. Though she is gone, the memories she created and the love she gave will live on forever. She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
