Yorkville – Helen Lucille (Kubeska) Nelson born June 15, 1920 in West Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Leo and Laveta (Fosdick) Kubeska.

She graduated from high school and business college in Milwaukee. She was secretary in the District Office of 20 ^th Century Fox in Milwaukee until her marriage to Alvin Peter Nelson of Union Grove on January 6, 1947. She was a member of the Yorkville Methodist Church, the American Legion Auxiliary in Union Grove and a volunteer knitter for Toys for Tots in Racine, Wisconsin since 1987.

Surviving are a daughter, Suzanne, and a son, Douglas (Sandra) all of Union Grove. Two grandsons: Scott of Union Grove and Peter of Kaukauna, Wisconsin. Two sisters, Nancy Duce of Chesterfield, MO and Pat (Bob) Zehm of New Berlin, Wisconsin, brother Leo Kubeska of Orange, CA. Great-grandchildren, Cody, Amelya, Clara, and Frances. Also a niece and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin Peter, her parents, and sister, Vira.

Visitation will be held at Yorkville Methodist Church on Saturday, December 23 from 10 – 11:30 am. Memorial service officiated by Pastor Sue Leih will begin at 11:30 am and burial at West Lawn Memorial Cemetery will immediately follow.
