Helga Marie Strehlow (nee. Scheremeta), age 71, beloved wife of Donald W. Strehlow, passed away in her home on January 22, 2021 in Burlington, WI. They shared 51 years of marriage together.

She was born in Germany on October 7, 1949 and was the daughter of Andrew and Hedwig (nee. Kowalewski) Scheremeta. Helga met her husband while working at Frost Co. of Kenosha and they married on June 21, 1969. She later joined the staff of Kenosha Hospital's environmental services were she worked for many years. Helga resided in Kenosha, where she enjoyed many years raising two daughters Christine (Tina) and Jennifer with her husband.

Helga loved family trips with her husband and daughters, dinners with family, the time spent with her 3 grandsons and learning to use her computer to play games and shop online. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mom, and grandma. Helga will be dearly missed.

She is survived by her husband, Donald Strehlow; daughters, Christine Clark (fiancé, Tad Shaver) of Burlington and Jennifer (Josh) Ludvigsen of Twin Lakes; grandsons, Lawrence McBride, Erik McBride, Dominik Ludvigsen; sister, Rosemary Rose; brother, David Scheremeta.

Helga was preceded in death by parents, Andrew and Hedwig Scheremeta; sister, Elizabeth Williams, Son-in-law Aaron Clark.

Her wishes were to be cremated and to have her family and friend gather to celebrate her life together. There are plans for a memorial in the future.
