Ian Chandler Keels (Glidden) 12/23/1996-12/6/2018

God carried Ian home on December 6, 2018. In his 21 years on this Earth, Ian remained faithful to his Heavenly Father. As a young boy he served alongside his grandfather, Gary Glidden, passing out fliers for events at Northside Bible Church and always telling his grandpa how to reach kids. As a Youth Aid, Ian attended youth group at Westosha Lakes Church. At 17, Ian became the youngest member of Westosha Lakes Church serving in the youth ministry, ushering, and greeting on Sunday mornings. As an adult, Ian became a volunteer youth leader at the church. Ian also attended Youth for Christ Campus Life Ministries and became a volunteer leader working alongside James Hauser at Central High School. Ian served with a quiet grace and would never miss a Sunday, Wednesday youth group or other serving event unless his illness prevented him.

Ian waits in heaven for his mother, Stacey Glidden; sister, Rosena Glidden, grandparents, Gary and Karen Glidden; uncles, Timothy Glidden and Joseph Glidden; and aunt, Elizabeth Thayer (Glidden); along with many brothers and sister in Christ.

Because of his dedicated service to youth ministries and his desire for young people to know God intimately, donations can be made in Ian's memory to Youth for Christ Southeastern Wisconsin in care of James Hauser.

A celebration of Ian's life will be held at Westosha Lakes Church at future date to be determined.
