Greenfield - Isaias "Ike" Jauregui, age 98, passed away at the Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center on August 13, 2020.

Isaias "Ike" Jauregui, 98, passed away on August 13, 2020 at the Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center.  He was born December 17, 1921 to Norberto and Conception (nee Salgado) Jauregui in Kansas City, Missouri.  Isaias served in the United States Army during WWII.  He served time stateside from 1942 to 1945, then was deployed to the European Theater of Operations where he saw combat as a rifleman in Germany and Czechoslovakia.  He was later deployed to Japan after the war for occupation duty.  After his service, Ike worked at Schlitz Brewery for many years, retiring in 1981.  Ike loved dancing, reading and he loved to travel.  Always up for an adventure, he would try anything and enjoyed returning to the battlefields in Europe, going on cruises and especially enjoyed his Honor Flight to Washington, DC.  He was well liked by all who knew him and will be greatly missed.

Isaias is survived by his siblings, Sara Shawley and Charles Sierra; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and nephews; and many friends.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, September 1, 2020 from 1:00 - 3:00 pm. Funeral services and full military honors will immediately follow at 3:00 pm. Private burial at the Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
