Union Grove – James R. Abresch, 85, passed away October 21, 2017 at Wisconsin Veterans Home – Boland Hall. He was born December 22, 1931 to Frederick and Josephine (nee Kempen) Abresch in Milwaukee, WI. James was an Army Veteran in the Korean War and was awarded the Purple Heart and the Bronze Star for his service. He enjoyed fishing. His sense of humor will be missed.

James is survived by his sister, Shirley Kriewaldt and many nieces and nephews.

James was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Bob, Ronald, Roger, Richard, Raymond, Elaine, and Joyce.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on November 1, 2017 from 12:30-1:30. Burial with full military honors will follow at the Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
