Mauston, formerly of Union Grove - James A. Blodgett, age 73, passed away at Mile Bluff Medical Center in Mauston on November 30, 2021.

James will be remembered as a gentle soul and a jokester. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and will be dearly missed by all that knew him.

He is survived by his loving wife, Barbara; children, Jeremy (Kathy), Kevin (Sherri), Carrie, Jill (Jwuan) Martin, and Sarah (Darrell); grandchildren, Zachary, Marissa, Samantha, Steven, David, Anthony, Logan, James, Quincy, Xavier, Tianna, Jade, and Dashia; siblings, Ron (Kathy) and John (Colleen); Barbara's siblings, Christina Slater, Ron (Sue) Wolf, Cheryl Wolf, Edwin Jr. (Terri), Mary (Bob) Davidson, and Michael (Renae) Wolf; many other relatives, family and friends.

James was preceded in death by his parents, Barbara's parents, an infant daughter, Kimberly, and brother-in-law, David Wolf.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 3, 2021 at Blessed Hope Baptist Church from 5:00 - 7:00 pm. A second visitation will take place on Saturday, December 4, 2021 at church from 1:00 - 2:00 pm. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 pm.
