Franksville – James R. Snopek, 70, passed away on April 25, 2018 at St. Luke's Hospital. He was born October 14, 1947 to Raymond and Delores (Pochowski) Snopek. James graduated from Greenfield High School. James married Susan Haase and together they raised two daughters. James supported his family by working for Rex Chain Belt (now Rexnord) for 40 years until he retired. James was an outdoorsman and hunted deer and duck. He also loved fishing and attended all but one Salmon-A-Rama since it began. Golfing was a favorite pastime. He will be greatly missed.
James is survived by his wife, Susan; daughters, KerryAnn Douglas and Karla Snopek; grandchildren, Justin, Coty, Adam, Isaiah, Kyla, and Marcus; and great-granddaughter, Nalayah.
James was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Wayne; and sister, Dorothy.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 2, 2018 from 5-7 pm at the funeral home. Memorial service will begin at 7 pm.
