North Chicago, IL – Jamie A. Solomon (nee. Gamez) age 41, passed away on March 10, 2017. She was born on March 8, 1976 to parents Rolando and Guadalupe (nee. Avila) Gamez. Jamie attended Burlington High School and lived in the area for many years. On February 14, 2013, she married Michael Solomon, living in Kansasville, before moving to North Chicago, IL.

Jamie loved life, her friends, and especially her family. She loved to laugh and was fearless. Jamie was sociable, yet, very understanding and thoughtful. Even if you were going through something that she never went through, she would make you feel like you were not alone and be there for you. In her free time, she loved doing make up, taking photographs, and tattoos. Nothing brought more joy to her, though, than spending time with her husband, kids, and granddaughter.

Jamie is survived by her husband, Michael Solomon; her sons, Tyler (Hannah Lombard) Sabin, Brett (Joyell Muth) Sabin, Jeremy (Veronica Longstreet) Sabin, and Dominic Hess; her grandchild, Aubrey Sabin; parents, Rolando and Guadalupe Gamez; her siblings, Rolando Gamez Jr. and Becky (Brad O'Malley Sr.) Cleveland; her niece and nephew, Ashley Cleveland and Bradley O'Malley Jr.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Annamaria Gamez.

Visitation for Jamie's family and friends will be held at the funeral home on Monday, March 20, 2017 from 5-7pm. Funeral services will immediately follow. Private inurnment at the Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
