Milwaukee – Javier Guerrero, age 88, passed away at Froedtert Hospital on May 26, 2019. He was born on August 27, 1930 in Mexico.

He will always be remembered as a hardworking, loving man. For many years, he worked in construction and later on, as a handyman, helping anyone that needed something fixed. Javier was a longtime member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Milwaukee. He was a loving husband to both Alice, who preceded him in death, and Matilde, who he was married to for over 40 years. He deeply loved the rest of his family, especially his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Javier will be deeply missed.

Javier is survived by his second wife, Matilde; children, Felix (Donna), Sandra Nibeck, David (Mary), Robert, Elizabeth (Michael) Stone, Richard (Diana) and Steven (Joell); grandchildren, Marie, Erica, Tony, Stephanie, Erica, Daniella, Ana, Roger, Joshua, Amanda, Jesse, Samantha, Stevie, Nick, Joey; many great-grandchildren, other relatives, family, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Alice; and daughter, Rachel Delacerda.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, June 4, 2019 from 10am-12pm, with funeral services starting at 12 pm. Burial will immediately follow at the Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
