On a cool and crisp October morning, with his loving daughter Lori and Granddaughter Cheyenne together, Jerome went home to God. Jerome Loppnow was a man of means and ends. Like people around him Jerry worked everyday to be a better man than the previous; striving forward if not only for the peace of an accomplished mind. While things may not always have been easy, he knew they didn't have to be. His tale starts close to the heart, born into a farming and blue collar family in on the heels of a booming local pride. From youth, Jerry was raised pure of heart and heft of brain. True to himself, he attended a traditional parochial school at a young age familiarizing himself with the world he read so much about As he continued to grow into his world with time, Jerry quickly found himself balancing his work as an altar boy and his studies. It was soon after he found himself at the high school, "Notre Dame School of Milwaukee," where he continued to marvel and learn. Both about himself; and the world he found fascinating enough to desire to read about. Making a graceful jump to working class and self reliability, Jerome took a job at a local aluminum factory. It was neither simple nor fancy, 2 words almost certainly never tethered to Jeromes strong and steady presence. Continuing a path of achievement, Jerry worked hard every single day until one day he had the means to get a drivers license. This made him feel proud and motivated. Soon after he took a job at the American Motor Company. In June of 1965, Jerome was wed to Carol June Schankey, of Mukwonago, WI. and began his journey into family man. His 3 children born in order as follows: Glen Richard, January 17th of 1966, Jerrys first daughter Jacki Lea, March 23 of 1967, and his second but equally lovely daughter, Lori Lynn, July 5th of 1972. As Jerome worked tooth and nail to provide for his family, so too did the work of raising children set in. While his company was being bought by Chrysler in a swift industrial stacking of the deck, Jerry continued with no qualms and no bitterness working with everyone to streamline business. Soon after, his work would manifest itself proudly in a climax of hard work and persistent thinking. Jerome was able to retire on the door of 1986, hoping his new found time would afford him recreation and time with the people he held so dear.

On behalf of Jerry and the family as a whole, we'd like to give acknowledgement to Cynthia Sallee. The wrought dedication and compassion she displayed to Jerry over the better part of 6 years truly left an impression behind that continues to comfort and provide a sense of peace to everyone. It's rare to see such a kind face in the environment she was thrust into. And she didn't go unappreciated, the great work she and millions of other women do is a testament to the real kind of care these great people provide everyday, even when it's fogged by the world and goes almost entirely unnoticed. She is a great woman who made it her objective daily to provide protection and dignity. And that is something that simply cannot be forgotten by us, now and by peoples for years to come. She will always be a part of this family without a single doubt. She's welcomed with open arms from all of us, her unending respect for humanity rivaled only by the appreciation we as a people feel towards her.

Visitation for family and friends will be held at Miller-Reesman Funeral Home on Thursday, October 22, 2015 from 4-6 pm with memorial service to begin at 6 pm.
