BURLINGTON – Joann M. Daluge (nee Kemp), 91, passed away Monday, December 11, 2023, at Burlington Hospital. She was born May 15, 1932, in Minnesota to Roy and Neva (nee Davidson) Kemp. On October 9, 1954, in Waunakee, she was united in marriage to Francis R. Daluge. Following marriage, they resided in Waunakee and Florida. She had been a resident of Burlington since 1963. Joann worked on the assembly line at Northern Engineering Laboratories. She was a member of St. Charles Catholic Church. Her hobbies included gardening, reading, puzzles, and bird watching. Joann was a wonderful, loving, and supportive mother and grandmother who enjoyed being with her family the most.

Survivors include her sons, Steven (Dawn) Daluge of Bartlett, Ill. and Daniel (Karen) Daluge of Waukesha; grandchildren, Stephanie (Greg) Hoyle, Allison (William Schmitt), Dayna (James) Rosenwald, and Dannie Daluge; great-grandchildren, Trey, Peyton, and Maddie Hoyle, Brooks Rosenwald, and a great-granddaughter due in January 2024; her sister, Peggy Kelnhofer; many nieces and nephews; and loving neighbors.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Fritz; her parents; and four siblings.

Family and friends may gather for visitation at Miller-Reesman Funeral Home on Saturday, December 16 from 11 am – 12:30 pm. Prayer service will begin at 12:30 pm officiated by Deacon Anton Nickolai. Inurnment next to Fritz will take place privately at the Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
