We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of John A. Groschopf III, 71, of Bristol, WI. Born on October 16, 1952, in Chicago, IL and known later in life as Jonni Groschopf, this remarkable soul lived their life to the fullest. Their journey came to an end on May 10, 2024, in Kenosha, WI.

They were preceded in death by parents, John Groschopf II and Georgette Groschopf of Volo, IL. They are survived by loving spouse Sue Groschopf of Bristol, WI, daughter Heather Bower of Kenosha, WI, son J. Jason Groschopf of Portland, OR, grandsons William Berger of Milwaukee, WI, Finn Bower of Kenosha, WI, and brothers Michael Groschopf of Winterhaven, FL and Mark Groschopf of Lake Villa, IL.

They were known for their bold and adventurous spirit, not just a pool builder by trade, but a skilled pilot, scuba diver, and experienced parachute enthusiast with an impressive 121 jumps under their belt. Their passion for motorcycles led them to the thrill of motocross and flat-track racing, reflecting their love for speed and adrenaline.

Aside from their professional achievements, John was a dedicated individual who served as a scout master for Union Grove Troop 350 for 11 years. Their commitment to guiding and mentoring young minds showcased their caring and nurturing nature.

Their big personality, clever wit, and unwavering fortitude have left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing them. They may have left this world, but their legacy of living life on their own terms will continue to inspire those who knew them.
