John J. Melesky III, 39, passed away on February 19, 2026, at his home from a sudden heart attack. He was born on November 1, 1986, to John Melesky, Jr. and Sandra (Kirkpatrick) Melesky. John graduated from Central High School in 2005. John married Kati Keefe on September 16, 2017.

A hard worker, John loved being a pipeliner installing sometimes miles of pipe for gas distribution and utilities as well as industrial construction projects. He was currently serving as site foreman for Meade. John looked forward to traveling "Up North" with family and spending time hunting, snowmobiling, and being outdoors. Kati and their daughter Harli were his whole world. Playing hide and seek with Harli was the best part of his day.

John is survived by his beloved wife, Kati; daughter, Harli; mother, Sandy Melesky; brother, Andrew (Tiffany) Melesky; mother-in-law, Cindy (Daniel) Willkomm; Kati's siblings, Lori (Mike) Whited, Sara Lopiparo, Thomas Keefe, Nora Willkomm, and Jason (Angelica) Willkomm; nieces and nephews, Kaleigh, Maverick, Jade, Jacob (May), Krista, Kaleb, Bradyn, Paige, Marli, Jordan, Sophia, Charlotte, Stella, and Colton; and Kati's grandfather, James Chiochios.

John was preceded in death by his father, John, Jr.; grandparents, John, Sr., Ray and Bernice Kirkpatrick; and grandmother-in-law, Anita Chiochios.

Visitation for friends and family will be held at Miller-Reesman Funeral Home on Sunday, March 1 from 11 am -3 pm.

In lieu of flowers, any donations made will go towards an education fund for Harli.
