Joseph Gleason, 70, of Mount Pleasant passed away December 18, 2021- his family surrounding him with love. He was born November 28, 1951, to Raymond and Bertha, in Racine, WI, where he lived and attended high school at Case High School, class of '70. He was employed at Chrysler and had a life-long love for cars. He was a member of the Hot Rod Club, loved car shows, muscle cars, collected Model T's, long rides in his cars, and his all-time favorite car was his Chrysler Plymouth Fury. He attended the Philadelphia Church of God regularly. He was an avid sci-fi fan, especially Star Trek. He loved spending time with his wife; one of their favorite activities together being going to the movies. He was extremely proud of his Irish heritage and being a Tribal Member of Ho-Chunk Nation. He is survived by his wife of fifty years Julie, mother, Bertha, his children, Dawn (Greg) Stine, Tamara (Timothy) Mikell, Shannon Gleason, grandchildren Noah Mikell, Austin Mikell, Gabrielle Gleason, and many other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father Raymond. Services will be held at Miller-Reesman Funeral Home, 620 15 ^th Ave, Union Grove, WI 53182 from 10:30-12:30, on December 23, 2021. Burial following services, at West Lawn Cemetery, 9000 Washington Ave, Racine, WI 54306, at 2 pm.
